score_type=1

pts_by_sec is a custom value for scoring. This value will increment score for each remaning seconds when a round is answered.
score_type values : 1 = original ((pts_by_sec*seconds remaining)/answer), 0=normal (1 pt/answer).

Notice: Beware of imitations, IceOp latest version is 5.1. (Today 2009 August 20th ). If somebody or another website offers you an higher version, it is an unofficial one and it may be a trap and/or a dangerous file.

We would like to thank all our users. IceOp reached 250,00 downloads yesterday on download.com. To reach a quarter million of downloads (only on download.com) for a moderator tool is a really good sign of apreciation from you of our hard work. Thank you for your loyalty, your comments and bug reports who help us to make each version more suitable to your needs!

Your bug reports allowed us to make a research into some redundant issues.

Known issues:

1. Some anti-virus program blocks iceop.org and iceteam.org domains.
2. Usage of Windows XP or Vista  in “classic theme”.
3. Compatibility problem with some kind of  unofficial “skin patch” or “emoticons addon” for Camfrog Client.
4. Usage of another version of IceOp/Snow, or another program who communicate with Camfrog (ex: a client bot, another optool).
5. Some IceOp features are not compatible with the time stamp in room and IM.
6. Some IceOp features need the JOIN/QUIT.

Potential solutions:

1. Authorize iceop.org and iceteam.org domains in your anti-virus exceptions to avoid errors.
2. Turn on the XP or Vista default theme in display settings of Windows.
3. Remove or uninstall any patch on Camfrog Client, and re-install a fresh copy of Camfrog Video Chat without any modifications. We will provide no support to IceOp users with patched/hijacked Camfrog software. IceOp is intended to work only with Camfrog Video Chat as you install it after download from their website.
   WARNING: Some unofficial “skin patches” and “emoticons addons” also contains viruses, backdoors and trojans to steal pro codes ans passwords. Be very careful with unknown files and links from strangers, even from your friends,  they can ignore that they are infected.
4. Turn off any other third party programs, older versions of IceOp or Snow, other optools and client bots. Never run multiple instances or several optool simultaneously.
5. Turn off the timestamp in Camfrog settings in order to use the auto away message, word alerter and friends events.
6. Turn on the JOIN/QUIT notifications in your Camfrog settings or type /notifyon in the room to temporarily activate those notifications. Those events are needed by some IceOp features as the friends events.

We try to make your Camfrog experience better by providing a free software, we work on it with all our passion in our spare times. Our main priority is to make moderation tasks easier.
